CIS - TiTRUSS CAGES

LRS designs and manufactures custom titanium truss cages (TiTruss) for the treatment of large segmental long bone defects.

The TiTruss cages are custom designed for each patient using CT data. The cages are then 3D printed in Ti6Al4V. The cage designs provide maximum mechanical strength, low weight, and a lattice conducive to filling with bone-graft. This is usually done in conjunction with Masquelet's induced membrane technique.

Close collaboration with the surgeon is vital throughout the process to consider surgical approach, fixation method, and the optimal outcome for the patient. Surgical guides and anatomical models are provided to ensure a smooth surgery.
