We are excited to share our most recent collaboration between LRS, Dr. Stefan Wever, and Prof. Graham McCollum in designing and implementing a custom total talus implant for a patient with a compromised talus at Mediclinic Vergelegen Hospital.
We designed the implant by mirroring the healthy talus from the patient's CT scan and 3D printed it in Ti6Al4V with a trabecular mesh for osseointegration.
This achievement marks a significant milestone as our 50th custom total talus implant. We take pride in offering this innovative treatment option and remain dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through ongoing refinement and innovation. Here's to many more successes ahead!
